March Game Highlights
We had a great game last time (like always, heh!). Three boards were in play. Winners were Carlos, Justin, & newcomer Sharon. This was Sharon's first time playing, woohoo! Carlos chose "The Real Estate Investor's College" 6 DVD set as his take home prize. Sharon and Justin both chose "The Secrets of Professional Investors Made Easy" by Robert Kiyosaki & John Burley. We are always adding to the prize pool. If any of you have something you would like to throw in, let me know.

We also passed around a list from the Bell County Tax sale auction with starting bids and ending bids. Many of the CFC members have expressed interest in Tax sales, so Gloria and I brought in the list so everyone could get an idea of what tax deeds were going for in Bell County. Texas offers one of the best rates in this arena to investors.

I also wanted to say thank you and recognize you guys for making such a commitment to the games. Chris lost her voice and came to play, Carlos had knee surgery and made it. Krisa had meetings and still popped in and out. Fabian was on call at work and played between trouble shooting calls. Plus everyone else who could have slept in or spent their Saturday morning in any number of different ways, Thank You! I truly appreciate all of you and enjoy our time together every month. I can't wait to meet the rest of you out there. I realize our meeting days are not going to be perfect for everyone and I also know how busy everyone can get, so I will be adding a poll on http://cashflow.meetup.com/264/ for suggestions on another game day sometime during the week.

I went to the "Invest for Success" Networking Forum the other weekend. It was sponsored by the Real Estate Investment Club of Austin (REICA). Thank you Mick Moore for the invite. Overall it was a worthwhile event and I learned a lot. They covered subjects like options in business entities, basics of RE investing, financing options, and how to spot investing trends.
